Supporting Local Health Services
Since 1952
The League of Friends of Exmouth Hospital is dedicated to improving patient care and staff wellbeing. We provide vital equipment, fund refurbishments, and enhance services to benefit the hospital and the surrounding community.
With over £2.7 million donated, we’ve made a lasting impact on local healthcare.
We support Exmouth Hospital by…
Funding essential equipment
Providing tools that improve diagnostics, treatment, and patient comfort.
Upgrading facilities
Refurbishing wards, gardens, and community spaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
Enhancing services
Supporting programmes that prioritise health and wellbeing for staff and patients alike.
How We Allocate Donations
As an independent charity, we carefully decide how to spend the funds entrusted to us. In consultation with hospital and community staff, we prioritise the most urgent needs.
Our Trustees meet every two months to review funding requests and ensure donations are used effectively.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to the League of Friends and to NHS Property Services. The funding they have provided and the work they’ve done will make a huge difference to the local community and to our colleagues as well, ensuring the hospital can provide the very best care to our patients.”
